The Swix I63 base cleaner features an abrasive scrubbing pad built right into the can, simply depress the head against the ski base to release a bit of solvent and scrub away dirt, grime and wax. Although we personally prefer using citric blend solvent for health and safety reasons, we also offer this petroleum-based recipe for particularly hard cleaning jobs such as removing kick waxes.
- We recommend wearing protective gloves to avoid direct contact with the skin, as well as having good ventilation and wearing a respirator.
- Avoid using this solvent anywhere near an open flame since it is highly flammable.
